Hemp fleece is a blend of 55 % hemp, 45% cotton. It is like sweatshirt material- smooth on one side, brushed on the other. The fabric is extremely absorbent, and it gets softer with every wash. The fabric also has anti-microbial properties which make it perfect for nursing pads and diaper inserts. It can also be used to make a quilt, using the texture of both sides to create a pattern (see the quilt page for an example).
